MAOI's possibly in my future....success rate?

I realize maoi's tend to be a later stage attempt at culling the anxiety (my main concern)... What is the general success rate with these type of things? All types of benzos have not worked. WE're trying depakote with higher levels of a different benzo. If that doesnt work., may go to a reversable mao. What is the general rate of success with this class of drugs?
