> I now seem to have a new sexual side effect! I have increased sensitivity and greater ability to get an erection than on the Effexor, but I now have greatly premature ejaculation. It's as if my body has got used to the delaying effect of the Effexor (and Prozac, which I was on previously), and now I'm off it,
I also have this side effect. When I first started Prozac it gave me greatly delayed ejaculation (and greatly increased sex drive) but after some time taking it I adjusted and all was normal. When I quit Prozac I found I had and still have to this day premature ejaculation. I think the reason is exactly as you suggest, that the body becomes acustomed to the delay and modifies itself. Its very frustrating fortunately my wife is very understanding and we still have a very pleasant and full sex life. Togther we have found several sexual positions which gives me less stimulation but is still good for her. I would suggest trying to find some of your own they are out there and it can be fun finding them. :-)
