Hi!PTSD can occur after a trauma and can vary in severity of symptoms and weather or not the trauma was something that happened once or a few times or was longterm ongoing type traumas.Eg a trauma that happens eg rape causes things like reliving the event in both memories and/or attatched feelings and emotions, nightmares, extreme fear and confusion and can involve things like jumpiness, anziety, social withdrawl and unreality and blaming or hateing oneself.Ongoing traumas like abusive relationships can cause probably different severity of symptoms because the person adapts to the situation more but it is probably more damaging in the longterm and causes things like confusion, difficulty making up the mind and problem solving ,feelings of unreality, fears and anziety, emotional numbness and denial, distrust of others, depression. There will be other things I cant remember too.Hope you find the answers your looking for.
