Naltrexone on its own probably won't help much with depression. But combined with ssri's, most especially prozac for some reason, it can work well. I tried it years ago and it did help noticeably with depression and feeling relaxed and sociable. I was looking for an anti-anhedonia remedy though, and it didn't work for that. Funny, I hardly ever drink. I was out to dinner one night and ordered a glass of wine knowing I would get a huge buzz off of it. But, no buzz at all. Then I remembered...ahh, the naltrexone!
