bad idea. I took abilify in part b/c my shrink told me the antipsychotic would also relieve anxiety. WRONG! I felt stupid, but still tense, oversedated, and generally anxious. NOt fun..not fun AT ALL. What's the big deal? Klonopin's cheap, safe, and has a proven track record; why replace it with this overpriced drug that causes weight gain, diabetes, tardive dyskinesia, and neuroleptic malignancy syndrome? I mean, please..this is KLONOPIN we're talking about here, not seconal or something...the "addiction" is way overblown by: puritanical docs who seem to think that treatment must be painful....and 2) Big Pharma, which can only make money on new expensive drugs by attempting to discredit the old drugs.

Its simply ridiculous. It is unacceptable that patients are being "treated" with seroquel for something as relatively minor as sad.
