I've never been diagnosed as bipolar or anything, but when I took adderall (amphetamine) it made me hypomanic- for about a year- and I loved it. But the last two years since, I have eperienced a more awful depression than I ever have had. I've wondered if the adderall essentially triggered hypomania, and then when the stuff pooped out, perhaps it was because I was gong beack into depression. Anyway, I've wondered the same thing, do greater lows follow greater highs?
