Please share! The reason that's usually given is that people who are doing well on meds feel no pressure to post. More people with PROBLEMS are drawn to support/info boards. That makes sense to me. After all, no one at the HP forum posts "My printer never jams. Any advice?"
(And I hereby promise, if I find a med that works, I will still Babble.)

I go through my own cycles about meds. I once shocked myself by bursting into tears in a pdoc's office when she prescribed a med. She asked what was wrong. I said, "I don't want to go through all that again!" meaning pinning my hopes for my life to this med for 8 weeks with no benefit, then that med, then a combo, then an off-label desperation....
I went through a few years of feeling (discreetly) self-righteous and "THERAPY FIRST!!" too, but I got over that. I'm now skeptical-but-supportive about many of psychotherapy's claims.
I'm flowing to the med side again this fall. Peter Kramer's "Against Depression" is what put me here this time. Plus, there's this exciting off-label med I read about.... ;-)
