Forgot to mention my experience with mood stabilizers, years ago. Lithium, even at relatively low doses, gave me severe hand tremors. Also lamictal, valproic acid, trazodone. Each of these I was taken off by my then-psychopharmacologist; I think either because of no response and in one case a rash. Maybe, though, they're worth trying again, if what I'm having is cyclothymia? When will psychiatry advance to the point that this trial-and-error "torture" will end?
