wierd sweet taste in mouth, stays after brushing

my dad notices strange breath as well. but it doesnt go away when i brush my teeth, it's like my mouth is secreting something... or something like that.
i haven't been very diligent on my personal hygiene but i don't have any soreness or sign of infection in there. i don't know what could be causing this but it's really gross.
