Hi. I looked up some info on this as you asked, and found it interesting. Here's a link - www.provigilweb.org. Well, I tried html and that doesn't work, so I'm not sure how to make it a LINK.
I read through the basic information, and then the off-label uses, and then the link to its use in depression. I read that they are starting to see some use, as you say, to help with fatigue and some other things involved.
It looks interesting, and I'll keep it in mind as I work with my iatrist. It did say one of the inactive ingredients is lactose, and I am lactose-intolerant. It also mentioned side effects of nervousness and anxiety, and I already have WAY too much of those, so I'm not sure it'd be indicated for me, but it is awesome to see some new options. And to discuss with the iatrist, as perhaps those side effects may not be common.
Thanks for mentioning the med, and asking me to report what I thought. I see it as a quite possible option in the future for me, so we'll see. I hope that it helps you, if you are prescribed it, and would like to know if you see results.
I posted a reply here, as it fits this forum better. Not that your asking in the other thread was wrong; it created a great point for me to then reply over here. I'll post a link to my reply in a reply under our newbies thread.
