The side effects of anafranil are quite intense compared to prozac or ritalin. It would likely take you by surprise in a very unpleasant way. Common side effects are extremely dry mouth, constipation, blurry eyes, feeling drugged, feeling dumb, sedation, dizziness, hypotension...

I know you are already on 2 meds and probably don't want to add a third one, but that might be the way to go. Adjusting current doses downward could help too, if you could get away with it without worsening depression.

With prozac, if it is working for your depression, especially after 10 years, I would not want to rock the boat too much. You may never get back to where you are now. Research things to add, maybe for example a low dose antipsychotic (really)(zypexa 2.5mg to 5mg, or abilify 2.5mg to 10mg), or a dopamine agonist, or a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Just some ideas.
