I think you might want to give your doctor the benefit of the doubt and follow his instructions. It takes more than a few days for these drugs to take effect. You might need 400-600mg of Seroquel in order to control the voices. It does take an extraordinary amount of patience to have to wait weeks for medications to become effective and optimized for your unique neurochemistry. The treatment that your doctor prescribed for you seems a reasonable one for the ailments you describe.
