anxiety, at its peak, can do just about anything to your nerves. for example, when it was at its peak with me, i had muscle twitches, night sweats, my lips would shake, tightness in my side and my scalp, numbness in toes. all of it went away, but it took time. actually better than the meds was getting other stuff on my mind, then i thought about the problems less. sounds simple, but it takes time.
check out "the anxiety workbook" by edmund bourne. the best on the subject. period.
