I'm ever so cautious about posting this, but wanted to report on my current medications and that I feel really, really well these days. My dx is bipolar2, GAD, and panic attacks:
60mg Cymbalta
100mg Lamictal (may be bumped up to 200mg if necessary in the future)
6 x 333mg Campral for alcohol cravings
10mg Ambien
and tapering off of Xanax, currently at .125mg dailyPanic attacks are all but gone. Anxiety reduced to what I'd consider "normal" levels. Depression a vague memory. Have been sober for 46 days.
I see a p-doc, a therapist, and attend a group support meeting every week, plus cultivate the friendships I'm making within the group.I'm not working at the moment, and might take some classes or volunteer after I've been doing well for a couple of months. I'm learning to let my body and mind take their time in mending; I've been ill for a long time. My healing is taking its own sweet time, but it has come a long way. I'm so grateful to have this stability in my life.
Can I say that I attribute a huge part of my improvement to Babble?? That this is the best place I've ever been in cyber-space.
