I am a dexamethasone non-suppressor. Perhaps a short course of the drug will force the system to reregulate itself so that the HPA axis functions nominally. I know it is counterintuitive, but then again, so is the mechanism behind the antidepressant tianeptine. It does exactly the opposite of the SSRIs and seems to be effective. Perhaps all that is needed it to push or pull enough to force the system to seek a new equilibrium.

No. I came across the studies while looking for information on the use of anti-cortisol drugs in depression.

You take the drug for only 4 days.

Everything!
