I am currently on Effexor XR 150 mg and my doc just prescribed 10 mg of Prozac on top of it. YEA! When I went to fill the perscription they gave me the generic brand (Fluoxetine). When I asked about it I was told that it is the same thing. Has anyone ever taken the generic form of Prozac? Did it work for you? The pharmacy was out of Prozac for the time being. Funny how they just assume you will except the generic brand.
