Effects of benzo's

Posted by rjlockhart98 on September 22, 2005, at 11:18:07

for me i have been on 3 benzodiazepines.

Ativan (Lorazepam)
Klonopin (Clonazepam)
Restoril (Temazepam)

Ativan- a more mellow benzo, less cognitive effects. Sometimes gentle, but gentle when my nerves are on emergency mode doesnt do much. No much effect on mood, laid back.

Klonopin - more mentally potent, calming, but depressing at the same time. I think it works at a certain center in the brain that depresses activity. Good for panic attacks. Negitive on mood sometimes.

Temazepam - calming, effects on mood can increase, sedative effect. Can increase mood similar to alcohol. Ok for anxiety. Moderalty mental potency.

Well thats it.
