Ok I googled my posts from before (old name mel_light) Anyway, wow I struggled at the beginning of lex too but I hung in there and it was very successful for me. However it looks like it took about a month and it was REALLY bad during my time of the month. If you read some of my old posts you'll see I had: lightheadedness, foggy minded, panic BAD, chest tightness, difficultly swallowing (so I thought) feeling like I was gasping for air, etc...
It looks as if they slowly decreased and got better. But I used the hell out of adivan and xanex to get through it...
Hope this helps...You're not alone.
> i REALLY do not like the way lexapro (5 mg a day - taken 2 x - day 3) is making me feel. i feel out of control also sort of home bound - i dread picking up my daughter at school - i feel like it is obvious i am on drugs so i want to hide!!- AND i couldnt go on my usual walk this morning b.c i feel too messed up and yesterday on my walk i got dizzy and thought i was going to faint and throw up from the lex. i would rather have anxiety and be my normal self. i feel like i drank gallons of theraflu yet still have anxiety....had to take 1/2 a .25 of xan. my pupils are dilated - a direct response to the lex. i couldn't sleep last night - know that is a normal SE but dont think the rest is normal for SEs - or is it?? i just dont think this is right. i feel awful.
