Spriggy, why are you scared to try it? I must say I looooove (regular) ambien. It provides a quiet, restful night and a true break from my worries. I think I am so fond of it b/c it is one of my drugs that I know is working as well as it is supposed to!
Are you afraid that you won't wake up in an emergency? (If not, I hope that I didn't give you a new fear). I used to worry about that too, especially since I live alone. However, (okay, don't laugh at me), the other night my cat was coughing on a hairball, and it woke me up. I thought that this sequence of events was kind of sweet. Like how moms wake up when their baby starts fussing. Also, it makes me think that if I needed to wake up, I still would.
Best,
EE
