Ace, I've actually tried Nardil too, for a couple of months. Didn't do it for me. Frankly, nothing I've tried has been great, mostly ADs.
Even though I consider myself unipolar, lately I'm a little hopeful about the response I'm having with Lamictal (100 mgs) and Lithium (around 300 mgs). Sort of low doses of each, and a pinch of Paxil (5 mgs) in the mix too.
Can't call this combo a splendid success, but I am doing somewhat better, and I'm still titrating the Lamictal. I like a little bit of Lithium. It's very calming, and acts better than a benzo for social anxiety. Too much Lithium however, is dumbing.
Anyway, for people that have found no relief from various AD's, it's worth trying Lithium and/or Lamictal, even though you might not consider yourself BP. Might not work, but it just might, and it's worth a shot.
