> My brain felt clearer on Aricept and I was more productive. It seemed to undo med and depression induced cognitive issues. It was nice. It also had some antidepressant effects. My GP pulled the plug due to elevated liver enzymes.

These are the first things that are looked at by Neurologists when evaluating an older person for Alzheimer's Disease or for an unexplained dementia. GI upset is common with these types of meds: Aricept, Exelon, Galantamine.
