Safe to take 3 months expired medication?

I have just found some Vivarint in my drawer of old medications. I WAS SHOCKED TO find them as it has been one of the only meds to ever do anything for my severe depression.

But this drug seems to be off the market these days. In France I heard it has a new name Vivalint or something.

Anyway how safe is it to take this medication right now???

Expirey date is 2005 05
