Ive been on parnate so long i dont know if my situations can apply to everyone.

But as u said, parnate seems to induce a anti-deprassant effect as in one of being alone, doesent give u the desire to be social,in fact makes u feel although ur lonly u dont need or want anyone around u.

Whats happening with me is a mania type behaviour,im either dead tired and depressed in bed,or up and moving around like a jumping jack theres no in between.

Im so frustrated with it all,i just took my first depakote dose and like i feared i feel a dumb effect.Like im stuck on stupid, but this is how nardil felt when i tried it without giving it time,so maybe i need to ride it out?

So its not so much to augment the parnate, but to add a gaba med to first get past social avoidance and also to add anti-anxiety,anti maniac type behaviour from taking a med like parnate that doesent ever touch gaba.

Part of me wants to just start the xanax xr instead and chuck the depakote idea for a while,i dont wanna feel yucky on a dumb drug i thought i was past that.

What sounds more of a viable option to u guys, ride the depakote to see if it helps,or use the xanax xr,i never used a xr benzo maybe its what i need, its so much info its annoying!
