Matt of course that's not psychotic. Looking at mountains as if they are people and assessing their personalities is imagination.
Are there such things as psychotic thoughts? I can't think of any. There are psychotic beliefs, and maybe a belief is a thought(?).
When I was at uni this bloke sat in my room and lucidly explained how the government of the People's Republic of China had implanted electrodes into his head to monitor his thoughts which were therefore of the greatest importance because they were the theatre wherein was decided the fate of the world. That was clear enough.
I think it is good for us to have a relaxed and tolerant view of the normal weirdness that goes on in our heads.
I think there is some comfort to being able to view ourselves as psychotic (or anything else?), although it beats me why this should be so. Maybe we like to believe we are more substantial than we really are and labels help.
