Appalling posture on certain medicines - why?

Posted by Sarah T. on August 4, 2005, at 21:56:22

When I took Celexa/citalopram several years ago, I noticed that I was unable to stand up straight no matter how hard I consciously tried to have good posture. This happenened regardless of the dose and regardless of whether citalopram was combined with more activating medicines. It seemed as if the ssri-induced apathy permeated my entire being, physically, mentally and emotionally. Does anyone know the actual physical mechanism that might have caused this problem?
