Adjuncts (tri's and psy's)

Posted by Squiggles on August 1, 2005, at 8:33:41

What's a safe adjunct with imipramine?
I read Dr. Bob's psychopharmacology tips
under Dr. Wilson's description of the
Dalanin adjunct being a dangerous combination.
Perhaps that applies to all anti-psychotics
combined with tricyclics. I think The Virtual
Hospital mentions that.

Assuming that imipramine is not well tolerated
*at high dose* and therefore does not treat
depression entirely but there is no alternative, what other safe anti-depressant adjunct could be recommended?

Or, could someone suggest a good site to look
for this question.

Thank you.
