I had thought that too. I once took too much benydyl (3), and experienced similar symptoms. Generally I don't do well on noradrenic meds. Effexor, but not citalopram induced persistant feelings of panic, heart rate increase etc.
Personally, I don't know how norepinephrine reputake has efficacy in panic disorder.
