I come to Babble to try and learn more about meds and what makes them work or not work. I don't feel pdocs or docs in general know anything other than what the drug reps tell them or what the PDR says. Many times when I was working a pdoc would ask me a nurse what drug I thought might work, and the worst of it was they even asked me what I thought their dx was. And if they make an error in ordering correct amt of medication it's nurse's fault. We're responsible of knowing what the safe Rx'd doses are. But I also come here to try and offer help and support. If I don't know an answer and that is often I refer to a med expert. I go to Social if I want a mood boost. And I go to Admin if I want to know what is of concern to other posters. I make it a point to go out and go to the gym and interact with other people. But I know at times that Babble is all I want or feel capable of doing. Fondly, Phillipa
