I was quite surprised they didn't take me off of it, because I was in hell. They gave me benzos to keep my panic under control as I adjusted, and I needed to stay in the hospital, as I never would have stayed on the Celexa alone, after about two weeks, the change was amazing. Celexa has been a god send for me, though I never ever would have believed it at the beginning.

Hi Gabbii!Sorry to cut in here but do you mind if I ask you something?
Celexa was horrible for you initially only because of the panic? I thought that it made your depression a lot worse at first too, no? I have a friend whose depression got a lot worse on an SSRI recently and I was thinking of your situation and wondering if she could hang in there whether it could all turn around for her. But if your problem was only the extreme panic, then it wouldn't pertain to her situation at all.
