Effexor XR

Seizures, anyone? After six weeks on Effexor, I had an episode which landed me in the hospital. Still being tested neurologically, but may have had a seizure. I stopped the Effexor immediately, as I found an article on the internet listing seizures as a possible side-effect of Effexor XR. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
