Hi BPS.

How long have you been taking Depakote, and at what dosage? Your current tiredness might be a startup side effect that will soon disappear.

One of the things about Trileptal is that after a few months, it "feels" clean. That wasn't true when I first started it. At 600mg, some flattening of affect, cognitive slowing, and fatigue evolved. These thing disappeared within two weeks. Trileptal is supposed to be good for certain agression disorders and impulse disorders. Perhaps it will address your residual irritability, but there are no guarantees.
