I've never taken Klonopin, but my experience with all benzos (except oxazepam I think) has been that under the tongue works in a matter of minutes. Dunno why oxazepam was different, it always took 1 hour (one of the reasons it is my least favourite benzo). It also contained tartrazine which made my tongue and teeth go yellow.
