Hi Ed,
Great counseils, I agree with you!
> It will accumulate for the first few weeks that you take it, I expect this is the cause of the problem. After the first week of treatment with EN, you can reduce the dose. This should maintain the positive effects but with less side effects.
> If it's not, you could take a short-acting hypnotic such as zolpidem (Ivadal, Niotal, Stilnox in Italy) at night + a very low dose of EN to help with your daytime anxiety.Yes, I think i could try in this way:
xlow dosage of En (f.ex: 0.3 mg) for anxiety + a short h-life benzo for sleep (currently have lormetazepam in my med bag).> All benzos are anxiolytic, including the so-called hypnotics.
Yes, true, even if i think that any benzo have a predominant hypnotic effect and others a major anxiolytic effect. However, i have no understood yet if this particularity is important in the side effects that a benzo produces.
Sometimes on "anxiolityc benzo" (f.ex. xanax) i feel disconnected and satisfied, and this do not help sex really! Sometimes on so called Hypnotics i feel a sense of tension and palpitation....neither this helps sex, i think.> PS. Can you buy EN without a prescription in Italy?
Unfortunely, no. But my "family doc" is always available to try and prescribe anything that could work for my anxiety.Thank again Ed and all the best to you!
