I didn't read through what everyone else responded, but make sure that you are seeing a psychiatrist rather than a general practice doc. GP's tend to be too conservative and undermedicate b/c they don't have as much experience and knowledge about psych probs. They have even conducted studies that show this!
If you already see a pdoc: you need a new one.

Hes never asked me what helps the most, dosage etc to busy looking at his 'puter. I'm not a bloody book, i need adaquate medication to control my issues and get on with life.
