Hi Pink I was dubious of the brain/drug theory of depression until I was prescribed a combination that worked. In my case it's 40 mg Citalopram (Celexa), 20 mg lithium (I think) and 2.5 mg Zyprexa. I've also given up drink. I'm now trying to come off Xanax after many years. So I hope you can find something that's as effective. It's so good when that inner warmth returns. I'd almost forgotten what it felt like. I think we're used as guinea pigs in the sense that although we're generically the same, individually we're different, so in a way each person carries out his or her own clinical trial (not clinical really - just a figure of speech)
Good luck
Fred
