Yes, the drug is gradually released from the dosage form in the gastrointestinal tract.

Yes, the drug is given as a decanoate ester.

That's right, Risperdal Consta uses a different release mechanism to the other depot APs. Risperidone is encased in tiny beads or 'microspheres'.
