Thanks folks, for the suggestions. Sorry I haven't replied asap! I find it hard to find my posts and responses on this site.
Anyway I don't think its my nutritional status that is causing the tiredness, because I always take a high dose multivitamin and mineral. I also had a load of blood tests at my GPs (doctors) and they all came back okay, except my white blood cell count which is low, although just outside of normal.
I think I might ask the doc to let me try edronax/reboxetine which I have heard good things about. Although I have done that in the past and he told me that it was too new to try and then tried to persuade me I was aenemic, (hence the bloodtests) -- I knew I wasn't anemic because I like I said I take a high dose multivit/mineral.....anyway. I might try another GP(doc) and really really emphazise just how dehilibating it is to have no motivation and to want to sleep all the time! I go to bed at 8pm and struggle to get out of bed at 8.30am. Its horrible. And you just think its you and that you're being lazy and then the doc doesn't take you seriously.
By the way, I did a adult ADD test and I got 180 - to be ADD you needed at least 70! Maybe the sypmtoms of ADD are down to depression/anxiety.....I sometimes wish I could get myself some ritalin - to cope with the tiredess and ADD!
So Ed_uk - you live in Yorkshire! I'm a yorkshire lass too. I was born and brought up in York! Which I miss very much. Are there any posts related to reboxetine?
