Thanks Phillipa *hugs*. Actually, in Australia its called "flushes" you guys call it flashes in America though I guess. Here is an Australian link, but its also written in some Australian med books that I have (well they are my Parents books but i love them lol): http://au.health.yahoo.com/041101/25/1uap.html?r=967507405
There are a lot of differences between British English and American English (Australian English is mostly British English). There are also differences between terminology. We mostly have the same medical terminology as the UK does. Hence "jail" is spelt "gaol", "color" is "colour", "Mom" is "Mum", "stabalizer" is "stabaliser", "ton" is "tonne", "check" is "cheque" .etc .etc LOL Ed and I had a big conversation about this and then I emailed him about an EKG instead of saying ECG which is what is said in the UK and Australia hehe.
Ed_UK is getting married? WTF? Ed, why oh WHY did you not email me about this! hehehe. Or is it another Ed? hehe. I will have to check this out!!! :)
Take care
> Chris, I'm sorry about the surgery. But remember it's flashes not flushes. And guess what Ed and Rainbowbrite are getting married. I think Link is going to be the best man. Hop on over to Social and check out the links. Not trying to downplay your problems, just distract you for a while. Fondly, Phillipa
