Hi Chess,
Clomipramine blocks the reuptake of serotonin. Clomipramine's major metabolite blocks the reuptake of NE.
Clomipramine has several other actions too eg. it blocks certain serotonin receptors.I have known people to respond to clomipramine (for OCD) after SSRIs have failed.
How long have you been on Lexapro?
