I take lithium carbonate twice a day and if I do not eat something substantial just before taking the dose I will get not just nausea, but vomiting as well. My stomach feels like a combination of fire and cramps continuously.

Tums, mylanta, and even pepto dont even dent the pain/nausea.
Miss eating while taking one dose will leave me feeling the above for 2-3 days.

Does anyone else get these severe side effects?

I appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.
Jenn
