In reply to Weight gain on _low-dose_ Zyprexa?, posted by cache-monkey on May 31, 2005, at 17:07:58
Hi I was put on 2.5 mg of Zyprexa while in the hospital. They wanted me to gain weight. It was awful. I was out of control. I stopped taking it as soon I as left the hospital. Sometimes I would hide it my mouth and not swallow it. So you can gain weight at 2.5 mg. In over a week I gain over 12 pounds. I don't think all of it was from eating either because I was in the hospital where is the food is disgusting.

I feel like I could probably handle maybe 10 pounds (I'm 175), but not much more than that. I'm also willing to work out more to compensate for an appetite or metabolism effect.
