I was given Surmontil a TCA instead of Lamictal and I didn't know. I had not been on Lamictal to know what it look like and I thought there was a generic form. I was on a MAOI at the time. I kept slowly titrating up and once I reach 100 mg for a few weeks I became so ill I had to go to the ER. This was in 2002 and it's still being investigated by the Order of Pharmacists.

I open it last night and notice that the capsules are a different color. "That's weird I think, Strattera is too new for a generic."
