Hey there. Yes, it does happen. The best thing you can do is take zinc and selenium every day. You will notice a difference in a month. Lamictal made me lose my hair as well. Ugh. But the zinc and selenium helped. There is also a shampoo you can buy in hair salons call Nioxin ( I think I have the name right). They have a shampoo that helps prevent hair loss (and guess what's in it ... zinc and selenium). You vitamin store might also have a special prepared mineral mix that you can try but the zinc and selenium is usually sufficient and cheaper than these concoctions. Like I said, it takes about a month. People who take Depakote often have to use it as well.
You can do a search on PB and type in hair loss and see what you come up.
