I don't know anything about benzos, to be honest. But my doc specifically told that it was okay if I did drink on this (not that she was recommending that I drink all the time, of course). Obviously, alcohol does add one more thing for the liver to process and alcohol is a CN depressant. But the interaction of seroquel and alcohol is this benign as far as I know.
And I have tested this quite a bit. I dont notice a difference in my reaction to alcohol before and after being on seroquel.
