Wow! Out of curiosity, what was your *initial* response to zoloft and paxil? I found them intensely mind-numbing--much more so than prozac--and assumed Lexapro might be the same story.
Is the Lex to help with the Effexor withdrawals or were you done with those by the time you started the Lexapro? Since then, have you experienced or are you worried about potential w/d symptoms from the Lexapro? Thiis is probably my biggest fear in doing another ssri/ssnri.
Finally, do you have any experience with tianapine (Stablon) or amisulfide (Solian)? Or even that old mainstay Vivactil (a TCA)? (Just because they aren't an SSRI, I'm less afraid of them!;.)
I know these are a lot of questions and to you and everybody, TIA for any insight you can give me. I'm looking for as many viable post-Effexor options that exist out there, trying to plan ahead while I'm still tapering down. Thanks again.
> I also got out of the Effexor fog recently and I am finding Lexapro to be a very effective and quick acting SSRI/AD. All other SSRI's have 'pooped out' long ago. The side effects are quite bearable and my "Effexor Withdrawl" is helped as far as sweating, nightmares, brain zaps, ect. I'm still quite numb in my extremities though. I am very excited to be feeling this well so fast, I have been sick so long...
