In reply to Back Down. Can Topamax help with Depression?, posted by D minor on May 5, 2005, at 21:30:30

So what I want to know is, if I go up, will it help with the depression? Or will I need to try an AD after all? Maybe Cymbalta will be safe to try now that I'm on a mood stablizer? (it caused a hypomanic reaction in me before). I just hate being depressed!!!

> dmMy guess is that you'll probably need something in addition to the Topamax to keep the depression at bay...wish I could tell you what exactly. I can honestly say it did nothing for my depression...I was already on an antidepressant at the time, too.
