But isn't Zoloft already long-acting? I mean, isn't that why you can take it once a day rather than several times a day?

(I'm not actually on Zoloft, I'm just curious because it seems like Prozac has been generic for a while now, and Zoloft - which I believe was introduced shortly after Prozac - isn't genertic yet.)
