Hi:
From what I've been reading/hearing, .... some of folks have a sensivity on psycho. meds., particularly meds. with some 'stimulant' efficacy. Wellbutrin is one of those 'stimulant' meds., not like 'pure' stimulant 'Ritalin,' but still has 'stimulant' that causing 'musculoskeletal' problems, one of which is 'ringing ears,' ... in my 'own' speculation. I had also 'jaw-popping' 'muscle ache' and other related problem at the beginning of WB sr regimen. In your case,... sounds to me like you have a sensitivity to WB. If you have, then try to take WB with a breakfast, without other med., 'Effexor.' Because, Effexor may have some 'augumentative' efficacy on WB. After one hour or so, take other med., Effexor. This method may reduce or at least lessen 'ringing ears.'
If this method does work, then take another half of WB, before 3:00 p.m. with a light snack, then after a hour later, take the Effexor with a dinner or, before the bed.
If you're one of those who have a trouble of taking psycho. meds., the best method would be, ... through my many years'personal experience on psycho. meds., ... take meds., in spread-method, like three times a day instead of two times a day. However, I'm not an expert to advise on this method, then 'trial and error' might be best way to find 'how to reduce/eliminate 'bad' side-effects from taking WB.
