Does Topamax act like a Diuretic?

I have just started Topamax and I'm suppose to take it at night but it keeps me up all night urinating. Is that normal. It's like takening a water pill. I'm only on 50 mgs. Will it go away?I've already lost 2 pounds but it must be water!
