I tried naltrexone with prozac. It supposedly works best as an AD augmentor, and works best with prozac. Some unknown link between the serotonin system and the opioid system. There was one guy who had great results with it. But I remember a handful of other people including myself who didn't get much out of it.

Intense nausea is an initial side effect that is tough to get through. Had to break a 25mg dose into chunks, and do just a small chunk. Eventually the nausea passed, got up to 50mg. Noticed a little more calmness and composedness in public, but no real antidepressant effect and no pro-motivation effect.

I was out to dinner and was looking forward to a glass of wine, because I rarely drink, and when I do it only takes a little to get me feeling good. I was looking forward to that little buzz from the wine. Two glasses later, no buzz. I had forgotten about the naltrexone. It blocked the alcohol buzz.

It either works great or it doesn't. Just like them all. :-(
